Welcome to Marginalia, the journal of the Medieval Reading Group at Cambridge.

We are delighted to announce the publication of the seventeenth issue of Marginalia, which features articles by Corinne Dale (Royal Holloway), Duncan Hardy (Oxford), and Kiel Shaub (UCLA); these consider respectively Wounding and Shaping in the Exeter Book, The Hundred Years War and the Written English Vernacular, and Lincoln Cathedral's First catalogue. Also included are reviews of recent important publications in the field of medieval studies by Arabella Milbank (Cambridge), Phil Robins (Cambridge), Nicholas Sparks (IES, London), and Alicia Spencer-Hall (UCL).

Our previous issue, Volume 16 - Yearbook 2011-12, is now in our archive section.
